What is Flat Feet and Pronation?
Pronation is when the foot rolls inwards. This is a normal function of the foot however it is not normal when the foot rolls in too much causing the ligaments and muscles to become over stretched. Over-pronation leads to what we call ‘Flat Feet’.
There is generally pain experienced in the feet, legs, knees, hips and lower back as a result of flat feet and over-pronation.
